There are many different myths about what works and what doesn’t when dealing with acne. Some people try all kinds of mystic home remedies like toothpaste and honey and stuff but I am convinced that you can get rid of acne easily just by changing some bad habits.
But in order for you to understand these 6 easy ways to get rid of acne you will first have to understand what causes acne…
Acne appears on your skin when one of the pores in your skin get inflamed by a bacteria called P.acne. The reason the pore gets inflamed is because it has been clogged by dirt, dead skin cells or most often by an oil called sebum which is produced inside your pores. And then when a pore gets clogged the bacteria P.acne gets attracted to that pore and then multiplies inside the pore and inflames it. So basically you must either kill the bacteria or stop your pores from getting clogged if you want to get rid of your acne. And this is easily done by cleaning them up from dirt and dead skin cells… and by lowering the oil production in your pores.
Now that you know what causes acne it will be a lot easier to understand these 6 easy ways to get rid of acne.

- Work out. This is something you must insert to your daily routine immediately. And not just because it’s great for your health and energy, but also because it’s an easy way to get rid of acne quickly. You see when you work out you will relieve stress which lowers your sebum production… and also you will sweat. The reason sweating is so good is because when you work out the sweat will take with it both dirt and dead skin cells from your pores to the surface. So basically sweating cleans up your pores.
- Take a shower immediately after working out!This is a very easy way to get rid of acne. All you have to do is remember to shower after you sweat. Because if you don’t… all the dirt, dead skin cells and even salt will stay on your skin after the sweat evaporates and then in turn clogg the pores you’ve recently cleared.
- The third thing you must implement to your day is washing your face and hands twice a day… no more, no less. The reason why this is so important is in my opinion pretty clear. It will clean up your skin and stop your pores from getting clogged by both dirt and dead skin cells. But beware don’t wash your face more than twice/day or your skin will dry. And when your skin dries it will crank up the sebum production in your pores and poof!…you have acne. So stick with once in the morning and once before you go to bed.
- The fourth way to get rid of acne is mostly meant for women so ladies listen up. If you use makeup be sure that using it doesn’t make your skin look even worse than what it did before. There’s one thing that a lot of girls do which is a big factor in their skins condition. And that’s sleeping with the makeup on. This is something that will truly damage your skin and give you more acne just overnight. It’s like when I was in the army and had to use “camo” on my face all the time, I got a lot of acne since the makeup doesn’t breather at all.
- This next thing which isn’t actually that easy for most people but can still be done is quit both smoking and drinking. These are both two factors that will quickly cause a lot of acne and in my opinion are not worth it. At least try to lower the consumption of these two if quitting them completely seems too hard. But these are two very easy ways to get more acne if you consume them a lot.
- The last habit you want to have is not touching your face or pimples. Just stop. It’s that easy. Every time you think about touching your face just take control and don’t. Because it will very quickly give you more acne if you touch your pimples, squeeze them or play with them. So just leave your face alone and your face will thank you by staying clear and beautiful.
