What You Need to Know About Hemorrhoid Pain
One of the main reasons why people with hemorrhoids complain a lot is because of the pain that the hemorrhoids cause. Other than having an annoying budge in the anal area, the pain is a major reason why people with hemorrhoids want to get rid off it forever. There are a number of ways to relieve the pain that hemorrhoids cause. A few examples of these are taking warm sitz baths a few times each day and using ice packs to relieve the swelling.

Cleaning the anus after every bowel movement is also important. One should do this by patting a toilet paper that is moist gently on the anal area; moistened pads or baby wipes are also recommended. Wiping is a huge no-no, it is advised to pat the area clean. While in the shower, rinsing the anal area is also one way to clean it to avoid hemorrhoids. When the hemorrhoid case is extreme, it is recommended to take medications to relieve the pain. A few examples of these medications are Tylenol, Ibuprofen and Aspirin. Applying creams around the anal area are also being recommended. Witch hazel creams help with numbing the pain and hydrocortisone creams are used to relieve the itching and pain.
Hemorrhoids causes
Extreme cases of hemorrhoids cause flare ups, when this happens one should stay in bed the whole day and one should definitely avoid standing up. When none of these helps, another way to get rid of hemorrhoid is by a surgical procedure. For internal hemorrhoids, rubber band litigation or a chemical injection to the hemorrhoid is being advised by doctors. However, other people prefer to remove the hemorrhoid completely by the use of surgery. This surgical procedure is called a hemorrhoidectomy.This is only being recommended when the hemorrhoid case is very severe, where the hemorrhoids are usually very large in size or extremely prolapsed.
Symptoms of Hemorrhoids
A bulging in the anal area where the stool passes is called a hemorrhoid. This occurs when abdomen pressure increases, this causes the blood to clot in the blood vessels, thus, creating a bulge in the anal area. There are a vast number of symptoms to know when one has a hemorrhoid. Some of the most common symptoms are bleeding, pain and swelling around the anal area and also itching. One will notice blood on tissue during every bowel movement or even blood in the toilet bowl after bowel movement.

This usually happens when the stool is very hard and very large. A person with hemorrhoid will sometimes notice a pain after every bowel movement. Watery fluid or mucus may leak when one has a prolapsed hemorrhoid. Also, a bulge or lump may protrude outside the anus, this can sometimes be itchy and painful. However, one can push the bulge back inside the anus if it will not go back by itself.
When one has an external hemorrhoid, one will notice a lump around the anus, this is usually firm and painful. The lump’s color is usually blue or purple. Itching happens when an internal hemorrhoid releases mucus that causes the skin to be irritated. Discomfort happens when the hemorrhoid bulges or protrudes outside the anus. One will experience pain when a large sized hemorrhoid swells and when it is squeezed by the muscles in the anal region. The pain becomes severe when the blood supply is being cut off.

Many people search for answers and products that will help heal and cure. Hemorrhoids are the swelling and inflammation of veins in the rectum and anus, which is caused by pressure on pelvic area. Main cause of hemorrhoids is due to constipation, it causes you to strain during your bowel movement, therefore puts pressure on veins in anal area, and if one persists this, than he or she will most likely develop hemorrhoids.

Bleeding hemorrhoids occurs if the weakened veins burst, resulting in the presence of blood during and after bowel movements. However, it is important to note that blood in your stool can be a sign of a serious medical condition and should be brought to trained medical professional immediately. Prolonging this condition might only make matters worse and bring forth 2 serious conditions such as; prolapsed and strangulated hemorrhoids.

Prolapsed hemorrhoids are usually when one strains to pass constipated feces (waste from digestive tract) therefore causing the swollen hemorrhoids to be pushed out of the anal canal. The Prolapsed hemorrhoids have 2nd, 3rd and 4thdegrees, 4th degree is the worse and always requires medical help. However, even prolapsed hemorrhoids can be prevented by proper diet. Drinking more fluids, eating more dietary fibers (such as cereal, vegetables, and fruits) exercising, practicing better posture, and reducing bowel movement strain and time. Strangulated hemorrhoids are when the blood supply to the hemorrhoid is suddenly cut off, it then causes the pile (hemorrhoid) to be strangulated, causing blood clot to develop, therefore, causing a complication called thrombosed hemorrhoid, which is very painful.
FACTS: It is estimated that most Americans, both male and female will experience hemorrhoids at least once in their lives. While people over age 40 are most likely to develop hemorrhoids, it does not exclude anyone of being the sufferer of hemorrhoids; everyone is vulnerable. Many women experience hemorrhoids during pregnancy and childbirth, and over-exercise, heredity, and other rectal conditions such as Candida (excessive yeast in the bowels) are know to cause hemorrhoids. Pregnant women can get hemorrhoids during the last 6 months of their pregnancy, because of increased pressure on their blood vessels in pelvic area.
